Finding Ways to Celebrate

Miss G’s 99th birthday was approaching and she knew because of the pandemic, and restricted visiting at her Seabury community, she would not get to see her family or her beloved dog, Charley. But, the Seabury team at Springvale Terrace wasn't going to just let this special day go by so they put their heads together and pulled off a surprise visit.

On her birthday, the Seabury team brought Miss G to a special spot, where her son and dog were waiting to sing her Happy Birthday from the other side of a window. The smile on her face was priceless, and a precious moment of joy and happiness that has helped sustain our residents, clients and staff during these tough times.

Our world has changed dramatically due to the COVID-19 virus. The older adults that Seabury serves are most at risk. We are working diligently, 24 hours a day, to protect the health of customers, residents, clients, families and staff members while still providing the care and services Seabury is known for. As the pandemic shows no signs of slowing down, we need your help - and we have a great new way you can support Seabury. We're excited to announce our annual "Leadership in Aging" event will be held online this year. We're looking forward to celebrating the amazing work our community has done this year, and we hope you will join us. Click here or the image below to learn more - tickets start at just $10 and all the funds support Seabury and our incredible clients and frontline staff members.
