Volunteer Opportunities

Every day volunteers like you help meet basic needs, provide life-saving services, and bring joy to older adults through Seabury's programs and services. More than 3,000 volunteers annually dedicate their time, energy, and spirit to improving the lives of older adults. Simply put, many of Seabury's programs would not exist without volunteers. Seabury provides a host of volunteer opportunities that range from one-time group projects to long-term individual service options. We have opportunities available for all ages and abilities.

Transformative service projects help support older adults in their own homes. A great service opportunity for groups as well as individuals.

Looking for an opportunity to plan a special event, serve on a board or committee, or create media content? Then you should volunteer with the Advancement Office.

Home First Residences is looking for individuals or small groups of volunteers to play games, lead activities or just sit and chat with residents.

Friendship Terrace is looking for individuals and volunteer groups to assist with events, play music, lead activities, or help residents within their homes.

Springvale Terrace is looking for individuals and volunteer groups to assist with events, speak on a range of topics, play music, or to lead activities.

Want to teach a language you know, lead an arts and crafts class, help serve a nutritious lunch, or guide older adults through an exercise program? If so, Ward 5 & 6 Aging Services are looking for you to volunteer.
