More Than Meals: Seabury Connector Celebrates Crystal Randolph’s Promotion

“We deliver more than food,” Crystal Randolph says. Crystal was recently promoted to her new role as Home Delivered Meals Program Coordinator for Seabury Connector after having served as the Home Delivered Meals Assistant Program Coordinator for 4 years. Crystal knows that home-delivered meals break down barriers of hunger and social isolation.

She learned firsthand. As a family caregiver for her mother, she realized the importance of a nutritious meal and conversation. “After my mother died I wanted to connect other older adults to community resources,” she says.

In her new role, Crystal does just that. She works with Seabury Connector’s home delivered meal drivers to ensure homebound older adults receive their meals on time and with hospitality. Last year, Seabury Connector delivered 138,798 meals—Crystal hopes to serve even more this year.

“It is a pleasure to know that the program is in good hands,” says Lester Wynn, Seabury Connector Director. Likewise, Dinnis King, Seabury Connector Assistant Director of Operations adds, “Crystal is proactive; she is always looking for ways to support employees as they better serve older adults.”

All of us at Seabury say “congratulations, Crystal!” We’re looking forward to the many meals and miles ahead. To learn more about Seabury Connector and our home delivered meal program, call (202) 715-7649
