Where do we find meaning and purpose in the later seasons of life? How do we support others through significant transitions to find peace, hope, and freedom?
Abundant Aging
Seabury was delighted to be featured on the Abundant Aging Podcast to discuss our original curriculum The Path Ahead: Spirituality and Purpose in Later LifeSM, which focuses on these questions and gives people the tools to answer them with clarity and confidence.
The Path Ahead was developed in response to concerns that older adults in churches felt overlooked. It now trains faith leaders to help older members grapple with ageism, identify changing spiritual needs, and engage in discernment about God’s continuing call.
Reframe the Narrative
On Abundant Aging, Seabury’s Dr. Elizabeth Boyd (Director of Community Outreach and Education) and Rev. Susan Walker (Deacon, Episcopal Church) discuss the curriculum they co-created and how to reframe retirement and later life as a season of calling and legacy.
Don’t miss this great conversation!
Listen and discover an opportunity to reframe your own aging as a rich spiritual journey, where serving others and learning to receive care are both meaningful callings.
