Gyimah-Akesson Awarded Employee of the Quarter

Seabury Resources for Aging is proud to announce Juliet Gyimah-Akesson, nutritionist at Seabury Ward 6, as the employee of the quarter. Below, Deborah Royster, Seabury CEO, and Gerry Perez, former Seabury Board President, present Ms. Gyimah-Akesson with her award at the Seabury Ward 6 office.

In nominating Gyimah-Akesson, Seabury Ward 6 Program Director Le’Anetta Tolar-Obasanjo wrote:

Ms. Gyimah-Akesson is committed to both the staff she supervises and the Seniors of Ward 6. She is a team player and goes the extra mile for the seniors and her colleagues. She is an asset to Seabury. She understands and demonstrates her commitment to the mission of Seabury. She is a faithful presence and is passionate about her job. This year, she has faced challenges with staffing positions she supervises. Her ability to understand her role and make changes to meet the goals for Ward 6 is commendable. For these reasons, and many more, she has been selected as the employee of the Quarter for Ward 6.
