Seabury’s primary representative is Dawn M. Quattlebaum, CEO. Ms. Quattlebaum has over 35 years of experience working with older adults in housing, community settings, and as leader of a $6.5M organization.

Senior Affordable Housing
Seabury provides deeply affordable housing at two communities: Friendship Terrace and Home First® Residences for a combined 200 units of independent living, with another 236 units in development at The Springvale in Silver Spring. Our experts can speak to trends in senior housing, independent living, and community building.

Senior Hunger & Social Isolation
42% of people over 60 in DC have experienced hunger in the past year. 74% of people are “aging alone.” Seabury serves over 3,000 older adults directly through community dining sites from Fort Totten to Southwest Waterfront, and provides over 100,000 meals a year. Our team is deeply versed in the daily experiences of members at our dining sites, and can speak to challenges and potential solutions for the twin crises of hunger and isolation in our region.

Spirituality and Aging
Seabury collaborates with faith communities to support older adults through workshops, caregiver resources, and faith-based engagement. We provide tailored programming to help congregations meet the evolving needs of their aging members.
