Assisted Living
Residents who require assistance are able to benefit from three different levels of tailored personal care provided by caring nursing staff. Additional health care services are provided in-house by a dietician, podiatrist, dentist, dermatologist and optometrist. Amenities include a dining room, living room, craft room and library where computers are available as well as wireless internet.
Private suites offer a kitchenette, living area and a handicapped accessible bath.
Meet A Resident, Mr. N. (pictured left)
Mr. N. moved to Springvale Terrace last fall. He is a Washington DC native who lived for many years in the Olney area of Montgomery County, MD. He served in the Marines during World War II and upon his return married and started a family. Mr. N. was a food broker and traveled quite a bit during his career. He is the father of 4, grandfather of 4 and was married for more than 45 years. Mr. N., now widowed, continues to be active in his church and has been honored with a Medal of Merit for his service to the Catholic Church. At Springvale, he continues to take part in activities and trips and walks to church and shopping.
