End of Year Giving
What are my options to make a year-end gift?
Donate Online —Gifts made on or before December 31, 2011 will be fully tax-deductible for the 2011 tax year.
Make a gift in honor of a loved one this holiday season! Donate online and let us know who to notify. Or send in a gift in the mail and we’ll notify the person.

See if your company will match your gift—Did you know that many companies will match your gift, double or even triple your impact? Consider your $25 gift could mean $50, $75 or more for the older adults we serve.
Gifts of Securities
Consider making a gift of stock. Ask that the gift of stock be sent to Wells Fargo. DTC#0141, Account #30186731 (Seabury Resources for Aging). Please call Michele Levy, Development Director at 202-414-6313 to let her know to expect your gift (please tell what shares you will be transferring).
Are you 70 ½ or better?
Qualified distributions of up to $100,000 can be made to Seabury (or other nonprofits) tax free from your individual retirement accounts (IRAs). Distributions can be made through January for the 2010 tax year. Please consult your financial advisor on how you can make this investment for Seabury’s future.

For credit card gifts: For December 27-30, please call Sharnita Farrar at 202-414-6315 to process your gift. Credit card donations can also be faxed to her attention at 202-289-5693 until 4:30 pm Eastern Time on this date (12/30). After this time and through December 31, we recommend that you make your gift online to qualify as a year-end gift.
