Community Services
Seabury Resources for Aging provides free or affordable support in multiple ways for older adults and their families who are undergoing unfamiliar life transitions.
Community Services connect volunteers with older adults who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their homes by providing assistance with basic home projects through Age-In-Place: Volunteer Services, while Age-In-Place: Home Repair & Maintenance furnishes affordable skilled labor to complete home repairs. Seabury Care Management Service provides counsel and professional guidance to older adults and their families through a personalized care plan tailored to match an individual’s needs with available resources. Seabury Ward 5 Aging Services plans and directs services for Washington DC's Ward 5 residents including health promotion, social and recreational activities, and case management.
The quality of our programs and our strength comes from generous donors and foundations, more than 2,000 committed volunteers of all ages, partnerships with the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, congregations and community groups, the leadership of our Board, and a dedicated and caring staff.
